Human Rights Violations in Gezira State: Terror, Humiliation, and Constant Degradation

The Sudanese Human Rights Monitor (SHRM) has released a new report documenting severe human rights violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the Gezira State since December 2023. The report documents extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests, and torture committed by the RSF, which also carried out systematic rapes and looting of public and private property. The report also highlights violations committed by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), such as indiscriminate bombardments that resulted in civilian casualties, torture, and extrajudicial killings.
